Garden City Brewfest celebrates its 30th Anniversary Saturday, May 4, 2024 from noon-7pm at Caras Park in Downtown Missoula!
Often imitated but never replicated, this is Montana’s ORIGINAL BrewFest. More than 50 local and regional beers, seltzers and ciders will be on tap for tasting, alongside a wine bar and food vendors, plus lively live music, and a cornhole tournament, all right in the Heart of downtown Missoula!
More than 30 breweries showcase their hoppy concoctions and hard ciders, including Bayern, Bias, Big Sky, Bombastic, Cabinet Mountain, Cranky Sam, Gild, Great Burn, Highlander, Jeremiah Johnson, Kettlehouse, Last Chance Cider Mill, Laughing Dog, Neptune, Sacred Waters, Tamarack and Western Cider. To sample brews, you will need your I.D. to purchase a wristband, and cash. Get there early to nab the limited edition 30th Anniversary 12oz. mug and four tokens for $30.00 – only 300 available. Cost for the 7oz. taster glass and 4 tokens is $20.00. CASH ONLY!
Live music kicks off at noon with Blue Point, a wildly energetic and heartfelt five-piece Bluegrass band from Missoula, followed by Northwest CMA’s 2023 Songwriter of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Local Solo Artist of the Year Tanner Laws and his band at 2:30 p.m.
Kyle Curtis and the Promised Lands take the stage at 5 p.m. with its tight-pocket rhythm section of keyboard, bass, and drums (Kyle Curtis, Connor Racicot and Lance Fisher) providing the foundation that takes flight with the help of the three-piece horn section (Skyler Mendell trumpet, Aidan Robinson saxophone and Sean Stineford trombone).
