NYCB Principal Isabella LaFreniere brings star power and refined artistry to the stage. A full-scholarship student at the School of American Ballet and recipient of the Mae L. Wein Award for Outstanding Promise, LaFreniere rose swiftly through the ranks of NYCB, becoming a principal dancer in 2023. Her repertoire spans iconic works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and contemporary masters.

Joining her is NYCB Soloist Ryan Tomash, whose international career includes principal roles with the Royal Danish Ballet and guest appearances across Europe. Known for his athleticism and expressive presence, Tomash joined NYCB in 2025 and continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Under the direction of Norman Huynh, the Bozeman Symphony adds lush, live orchestral brilliance to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score. Huynh, also Music Director of the Britt Music & Arts Festival, is celebrated for his dynamic podium presence and imaginative programming.

Audiences will have opportunities to enjoy this historic collaboration at the Willson Auditorium on Saturday, March 7 at 2 and 7 p.m., and a matinee on Sunday, March 8 at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.montanaballet.org or by calling 406-582-8702.

Beyond the stage, Montana Ballet Company has expanded its artistic collaborations, welcoming creative leaders from Raison D’être Dance Project, Opera Montana, and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.

With its enchanting fairytale narrative, beloved characters, and themes of hope and destiny, Sleeping Beauty continues to captivate audiences of all ages. This special Bozeman engagement offers a rare chance to experience world-class ballet artistry close to home.
