Dancing With The Arts Missoula Stars
Get ready, Missoula—because one of the most entertaining nights of the year is back and bigger than ever. Dancing With Arts Missoula Stars returns Saturday, April 11th at The Wilma, blending show-stopping performances, live music, and community spirit into an unforgettable evening.

This lively fundraiser pairs eight local “stars” with eight professional dancers for nine weeks of training, all leading up to one dazzling night on stage. The result? A high-energy dance competition filled with personality, creativity, and a few surprises along the way. But it’s not just about the dancing—each team is also competing to raise funds for Arts Missoula, with the top fundraiser taking home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Donate to give your favorite team an extra boost to win the prize.
Adding to the excitement this year is live music from Purple Stardust, a powerhouse group of seven of Missoula’s most talented musicians coming together just for this event. Does the name give it away? The band will be playing hits from two legendary icons of the 70s and 80s, bringing a nostalgic soundtrack to the evening.
Led by bandleader Simon Hickey, the group features Josh Farmer, Jacob Logan, Cade Chastain, Evan Nesbit, Marcus Van Tassle, and Lucy Taylor. They’ll kick off the night during the cocktail hour from 6:30–7:30 p.m., setting the tone with live music before joining the dancers on stage to perform throughout the show.
The evening begins with that lively cocktail hour and silent auction at 6:30 p.m., offering guests a chance to mingle, sip, and bid on unique items. Then at 7:30 p.m., the curtain rises and the dance competition begins.
Guests are encouraged to dress up and fully embrace the festive atmosphere. Whether you come for the music, the dancing, or the chance to support local arts, this event delivers it all.
At its heart, Dancing With Arts Missoula Stars is a celebration of creativity, connection, and the vibrant arts scene that makes Missoula shine. Don’t miss your chance to be part of it.
