A Countywide Celebration of the Arts

ArtWeek Park County will turn Livingston and surrounding communities into a showcase of Montana creativity in late September 2026. The celebration invites residents and visitors to experience the region through art. Exhibitions, workshops, live performances and cultural experiences will create exciting ways to participate.

The event celebrates Park County’s creative legacy while helping artists reach wider audiences. Galleries, businesses, artists and community organizations host activities across the area. As a result, guests can build an art-filled itinerary, meet working artists and discover original pieces in welcoming spaces.

ArtWeek Park County also strengthens community connections and encourages cultural tourism. Whether visitors enjoy painting, sculpture, photography or mixed media, the celebration offers opportunities to explore the distinctive creative character of southwest Montana.

Create and Connect During ArtWeek

On September 22, Garre Studio welcomes visitors for a free open studio and art demonstration. The afternoon event provides a closer look at the creative process while giving guests an opportunity to connect with artists.

Then, on September 24, artist Hannah Uhde will lead The Big Bend Wrangler. Community members can add their own brushstrokes to a cowboy portrait painted in oils on copper. The free collaborative project honors the ranching heritage and enduring spirit of the Big Bend region.

The final summer Art Walk follows from 5 to 8 p.m. September 25 at the Livingston Center for Art and Culture. This free, all-ages gathering offers another chance to celebrate artists, view fresh work and enjoy Livingston’s energetic arts community.
