Have you ever wondered just how much air it takes to get the trumpet to make a sound? Or have you ever thought that it would be fun to get jiggy with a violin? Or maybe you just really really want to see what it’s like to crash cymbals together. Well, now you can! In the Billings Symphony’s biggest instrument petting zoo of the season, you can travel around String Street, Woodwind Way, Brass Boulevard, and Percussion Plaza in the Billings Public Library to try just about every orchestra instrument you could imagine.
And afterwards, hop aboard Dr. J’s Jazzy Journey, a high-energy, 30-minute musical adventure designed just for kids! Free at 11:30 AM in the Community Room.
