Elk Clinic: Women, Wildlife & Conservation

Aug 6 - Aug 9

Explore Montana's wildlife, public lands, and conservation heritage at Venery's Elk Clinic, a three-day educational experience designed for women. Through field-based learning, participants gain a deeper understanding of elk ecology, habitat, wildlife management, and the role hunting plays in modern conservation.
Set along the Yellowstone River, the clinic combines outdoor education, stewardship, and community-building, creating space for women to learn new skills, ask questions, and connect with the landscapes that make Montana unique. Participants also explore the connection between wildlife conservation, public lands, and sourcing healthy, local food from the landscape.
Whether you're new to hunting, interested in conservation, or simply looking for a deeper understanding of Montana's outdoor heritage, you'll leave with practical knowledge, greater confidence, and a supportive community of like-minded women.
Open to all who identify as women.
