Kids Class: Playwriting and Directing

Grades 1-5 will learn the fundamentals of play analysis and use their creativity to write their own play. Kids will discover their own world, create fun characters and learn about plot structure and strengthen problem solving skills through putting characters in a dilemma and then finding a way out of it. When all of that is on paper, they will see their stories come to life on stage as it is directed and acted by the kids and their peers. Directing will teach about patience, thinking outside of the box and how to work with others to achieve the same goal of telling these fun and original stories. Children who are doing Beauty and the Beast Camp are welcome to stay in between for an extended day at Verge.
