Sudents will discover the art of jewelry making in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop. Over the course of four weeks (3-hour sessions), they will learn the fundamentals of metalworking and jewelry design, from basic tools and techniques to creating custom pieces. Whether interested in learning to craft rings, earrings, or pendants, this class will introduce essential metalsmithing skills and give the student the confidence to create their own wearable art. By the end of the class, they’ll have a basic understanding of metalworking and the ability to design and create their own jewelry. Whether the student continues their jewelry-making journey or just create a few pieces, this class will give them a solid foundation in the art of metalsmithing.
Materials Included: All basic materials, including copper, brass, and silver sheet, as well as tools for each session. Students may bring their own found stones or gemstones if they wish to incorporate them into their designs.
