MisCon 39: Hive of Scum and Villainy, Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention

This 4-day celebration of fantasy, science fiction, horror, gaming, cosplay and anime offers a variety of discussion panels, games, readings, craft demos, workshops and appearances by genre authors, artists, game designers, actors, costumers, and other professionals in the world of speculative fiction. Buy and sell at the Art Gallery, watch film festival submissions, participate in costume contests, play RPGs, board games, LARPs, Magic the Gathering, and peruse the merchant tables. MisCon has something to fascinate, educate and entertain everyone.
The MisCon 39 Guest of Honor is Casey Renee, an award-winning cosplay artist known for her exceptional skills in sewing and working with soft materials. This year's featured professionals are Steven K Smith, an award-winning artist, fabricator, and owner of SKS Prop and Costume Supply; Jeff Sturgeon, a northwest artist known for his award-winning metal paintings; Todd Lockwood, an illustrator and author whose work has appeared on numerous NY Times best-selling novels, magazines, video games, collectible card games and fantasy role-playing games. His debut novel, "The Summer Dragon" was on the shortlist of "Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Novels of the Year" of both Barnes & Nobles and Amazon.
