Mar 20 - May 1

Throughout Yellowstone County, one can often find a variety of open spaces for a morning meander. From the luscious cottonwood and aspen forests to the floral and fragrant communities of the open prairie, Yellowstone County is a hotbed of plant diversity!
Those who have a desire to learn more about their plant neighbors are encouraged to participate in the fourth annual Native Plant Symposium. Learn from local professionals who love sharing their knowledge and guiding attendees through various gardening and native plant topics.
The Montana Audubon Center hosts virtual webinars March 20 and 27 from 9-11 a.m., and again, this time outside and in person, for April and May workshops. More information about the Symposium and registration can be found on Montana Audubon Center’s website. Space is limited.
As Yellowstone County continues to develop, the issue of preserving native plant resources becomes increasingly necessary.
