Susie Risho shows ages 9–-12 how to create several different kinds of folded books from accordion to Turkish-map style. Participants experiment with dying cloth for covers, sewing pages together, and using care in folding papers and designing a well-balanced, appealing progression of pages. The book content will include drawing imaginative creatures, using humor, and working with memory.
