Teen Art Project

Jun 11 - Aug 8

Free

A creative collaboration between professional writers and visual artists, high school students, and MAM staff. High school students work with professional artists Corky Clairmont, Aspen Decker, Theo Elsworth, Ladypajama, Chris La Tray, and Janaína Vieira-Marques (MAM staff).
During the summer session of MAM’s free Teen Art Project (TAP) arts and leadership program teens make public art in collaboration with professional artists to answer the question, What type of beauty does this place unveil for you? TAP is about collaboration, public art, and citizenship. MAM is committed to creating a space where teen voices matter and have the potential to transform communities through artmaking, and where teens learn, through collaboration, how to coexist respectfully and peacefully.
