Teen Artist Workshop - Clip Art

Mar 12

Free

Daniel Molloy leads this free two-hour workshop for middle and high school students.
Exhibiting artist Gordon McConnell is inspired by old Western movies. Some of his works are about who or what is not in the frame. After viewing clips of some of the movies McConnell used, participants create their own video clips based on their perspective. Tell untold stories from a new angle. Molloy will assist with set up, recording, and editing of short film clip using phone cameras.
This program demonstrates a positive, respectful, collaborative environment that strives to make all students feel welcome and comfortable. Both teaching artists and exhibiting artists are trained and hired to lead art projects in a variety of art media, techniques, and approaches that related directly to exhibitions on display.
