Weekend Waterolors: Four Saturdays with Susan Supola

Nov 1 - Nov 22

Discover the joy of watercolor painting in a four-part Saturday series with artist Susan Supola. Perfect for beginners and intermediate painters, this hands-on class will guide through techniques like wet-in-wet painting, creating textures, and exploring composition.
Each participant receives a materials kit (a $35 value) with paints, brushes, paper, and a palette, so they can jump right in. Over four sessions, the class will paint still lifes and landscapes, and at the end of the series, choose one 5”x7” painting to be featured in a C.M. Russell Museum exhibition.
Nov. 1 Getting Started: Learn basic techniques, color mixing, and watercolor fundamentals.
Nov. 8 Wet-in-Wet Techniques: Experiment with flowing washes and textures.
Nov. 15 Still Life: Practice composition and paint a 5”x7” still-life piece.
Nov. 22 Landscapes & Cityscapes: Apply perspective and paint a 5”x7” landscape or cityscape to showcase in our exhibit.
