Workshop: Value-Added Product Sales Under the Local Food Choice Act

New Montana law creates new opportunities for producers to offer previously disallowed items for direct-to-consumer sales without licensing. These new items include raw milk and poultry, and other processed and value-added food items such as catered meals, pickled and canned foods, and perishable baked goods.
