West Yellowstone Free Concert Series
Summer nights in West Yellowstone will come alive with free music when Black Mountain Productions presents its 2026 Music in the Park Concert Series. Four family-friendly performances will bring funk, pop favorites, bluegrass and country to Pioneer Park from July 4 through August 15.
The season opens with a Fourth of July celebration featuring The Soul Funk Collective. The band takes the stage at 7 p.m. and will keep the groove going until the community fireworks begin. It is an upbeat way to celebrate Independence Day beneath Montana’s wide summer sky.
On July 18, fans can sing along with Red, A Taylor Swift Tribute Band. The 7 p.m. concert promises an energetic evening filled with familiar songs and crowd-pleasing moments for Swifties of all ages.
Bluegrass takes center stage Aug. 7 when North Fork Crossing headlines the third concert. An opening act begins at 6:30 p.m., setting the mood for a lively night of acoustic picking, rich harmonies and mountain music.
The series closes Aug. 15 in conjunction with the 13th Annual POWMIA Montana Ride to Remember. After an opener at 6:30 p.m., country artist Austin English will headline the evening. The concert adds live music to a meaningful gathering honoring prisoners of war and those missing in action.
Music in the Park has been a West Yellowstone summer tradition since 2006. Over the years, the series has welcomed local, regional and headlining performers while offering a broad mix of musical styles. Its welcoming atmosphere makes each show a natural gathering place for residents and Yellowstone visitors alike.
All four concerts are free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and settle in for an easygoing evening outdoors. Pack a picnic dinner or pick up takeout from a West Yellowstone restaurant before heading to the park.
